COMMUNITY LAB
Sree Sudheendra College of Nursing aims at preparing student nurses to provide competent care as per the cultural background of the people. We have all the types of audiovisual aids to stimulate the students for community health nursing practice. The lab is equipped with bags containing all the articles for community health nurses to perform various procedures during their home visits.
COMPUTER LAB
Sophisticated computer lab includes computers with internet facilities and a computer trainer for training the students.
FUNDAMENTAL LAB
The Fundamentals of Nursing lab is equipped to develop the clinical bedside skills of the students. The students are equipped to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in pre-clinical laboratory before they are exposed to real hospital situations. The nursing foundations lab’s physical layout accommodates various learning areas and stations according to the needs of the students.
MATERNAL & CHILD HEALTH LAB
Maternal and Child Health Lab is to build on the philosophy aimed at enlightening the skill and proficiency of the upcoming midwives. It is equipped with various manikins, instruments, specimens, models and charts. Child Health lab is having an array of stimulators, charts and various play therapy materials; to develop the nursing care skills essential to care the newborn, infant and children.
NUTRITION LAB
Nutrition lab is well furnished and equipped with all the facilities to build up an concrete knowledge and skill for the upcoming health care providers, who is looking to help their clients on a deeper level by getting to the root cause of health concern.
PRE CLINICAL LAB
The models and specimens in our anatomy lab helps students to learn the different organs and its functions which is important in nursing courses.
